After more than eight years in sustainability and climate consulting, I've seen companies invest significant time and resources into measuring their impact, setting targets, and reporting against ambitious goals, but often struggle with the next step: turning those commitments into action.
I started Elemental Neutral to make high-quality sustainability expertise more accessible to companies that need strategic support without the cost or complexity of a large consulting firm. I work with two kinds of clients: teams building their sustainability function who need experienced guidance without a full-time senior hire, and companies that need a project executed start to finish, from strategy through implementation. I intentionally take on a limited number of clients at a time, so every engagement gets real attention.
My strategy work is grounded in what's actually practical to execute, not just what looks good on paper.

Previous Work Experience
ERM - Principal Consultant, Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change
Los Angeles, California. 2022 - 2026
ERM is one of the world's leading sustainability and environmental consulting firms. I spent more than four years there, progressing from Managing Consultant to Principal Consultant, working closely with clients across manufacturing, oil & gas, construction, real estate, technology, and pharmaceuticals. I partnered directly with client teams to build buy-in across their organizations, guiding companies from having no emissions inventory at all through to a fully realized climate strategy. That work spanned both levels a strategy needs to succeed: action-level implementation plans that teams could actually execute, and C-suite-ready decks that quantified the financial and emissions impact of different paths forward, giving leadership the data they needed to commit. Along the way, I led and coached teams of consultants to make sure every engagement delivered work clients could act on with confidence.
Aurecon - Sustainability Consultant
Sydney, Australia. 2019-2022
Aurecon is a leading engineering firm in the APAC region, and I spent three years with them in Sydney, Australia, working on a small, specialized sustainability team embedded within a much larger engineering practice. This was boots-on-the-ground work: I helped deliver sustainability and climate strategy throughout the construction process on major infrastructure projects, including Western Sydney Airport and Melbourne Airport Rail, which gave me hands-on experience operationalizing strategy rather than just designing it on paper. I developed climate change adaptation plans, led sustainability workshops with project teams and stakeholders, and coordinated with contractors and clients to help projects achieve sustainability certifications, including LEED, Green Star, and Infrastructure Sustainability ratings.
Project Highlights
Net Zero Roadmap for a Food Packaging Company
This client had made public net-zero commitments but didn't yet have a clear path to get there, including emissions specific to agriculture and land use (FLAG), which are notoriously hard to tackle. Meeting their targets felt daunting before we started, the scope of what needed to change wasn't obvious yet. I worked with their team to analyze their full emissions footprint, then narrowed a long list of possible reduction opportunities down to the handful that would actually move the needle, modeling the emissions impact and cost of each. The result was a roadmap with near- and long-term science-based targets and a clear set of prioritized actions, replacing what had felt like an overwhelming commitment with a concrete, achievable plan.
Climate Transition Planning for a Large Technology Company
This client already had decarbonization plans in motion, but they were siloed across teams, work was being duplicated, and no one had full visibility into how the pieces fit together. I built on their existing efforts to develop an internal climate transition plan, including an outline aligned with emerging CSRD disclosure requirements, and led an analysis of the company's climate-related risks and opportunities. From there, I found the synergies they were missing, linking risk mitigations to their existing decarbonization, product, and value-chain initiatives so the company had one unified plan instead of several disconnected ones, with clear priorities, ownership, and metrics to track progress.
Sustainability Goal Setting for a Consumer Goods Company
This client already had some sustainability goals in place, but they needed to step back and reprioritize, no one had sat down as a team to confirm what actually mattered most. I led an ESG goal-setting workshop with their leadership team, using materiality as the filter: focusing the conversation on the topics that mattered most to both the business and its stakeholders, rather than trying to tackle everything at once. The goals that came out of that session became the foundation of their published sustainability report, giving the company a set of priorities that leadership had actually aligned on, not just a list handed down from outside.
